My Story
I first fell in love with Scentsy years ago when my teaching partner and friend got me a ceramic cherry blossom warmer, called Cherry Tree, and a few delightful bars as a going-away gift. She said I clearly needed one of my own because I would compliment her on how amazing her classroom smelled every time I would walk in. She also wanted me to have something lovely in my new classroom to remind me of my past school family and kiddos. Since then, I have thoroughly enjoyed using my Scentsy warmer in my classroom, but had not even thought about using it in my home.
Another teacher friend of mine had joined Scentsy and would always send me invites to come check it out, but the timing just never worked out. Finally, over Winter Break, I attended her Scentsy Open House one rainy afternoon in her own home. I stayed for hours smelling every, and I mean every, scent tester she had. If you know me at all, you know I like to be an informed shopper and that I love a good deal! I ended up ordering a couple of Scentsy Bar 6-packs (because Buy 5, Get 1 Free is the best deal!) and brought home tons of awesome scents that day. I even ordered my absolute favorite warmer, Ocean Mosaic after telling my friend that up until then, I had only bought Scentsy for my classroom. I admitted feeling pretty silly that I was putting more effort into making my classroom smell better than my own home.
I was so excited to open my first order when my friend brought it over. After the first use of my new warmer in our living room, I told her that I needed more warmers for other rooms too and that I already wanted to buy more scents to warm as well. I placed that last order with her before finally realizing that I love this product so much that I want to sell it too so that all my friends and family can experience the fun! I joined my now “Scentsy Mama’s” team in January 2017 and have loved every second of it!
I am so grateful to have been invited into the Scentsy family! I have met tons of new and wonderful friends through this small business of mine! I am truly thankful for all the love and support I have found in my fellow Scentsy sisters and brothers as well. This company truly is a family, and everyone I have encountered has been so helpful and kind.
